Help me clean/tidy!! 😩🙈

I am half way through the bathroom (just need to clean the bath, toilet and floor then that room is done)

Then I need to do our bedroom (mainly sorting out laundry, vacuuming and wiping the windowsills)

The playroom/bedroom that toddler doesn’t sleep in only needs a bit of a tidy so that should only take me about 15-20 minutes 🤞

Then the office/room to store stuff should only need about 30 minutes or so but I need to not get distracted (same problem in the play room!!)

Then there’s the landing and laundry with clothes and toys that need putting away and that will need vacuuming too

I’m hoping to have it all done by 7/8 but I’m so bad at getting distracted and putting it off!!

Dp is downstairs sorting out the kitchen and looking after our toddler in case anyone asks why he’s not helping 😂

I always write a list of what needs doing by room and then tick it off once it's done. That seems to keep me motivated. I also set myself a timer for each room and then try to beat the timer 🤣🤣🤣 works for me!
Good luck x

Do you need to do it all now and today OP? that sounds like a lot for one go.

On the other hand if you plough on then later you can sit down to a clean house and no cleaning tomorrow.

It sounds like you have a good plan.

Bathroom:
clean the bath (it only needs wiping down now so I will do that when I’m done cleaning/tidying and get in the shower)
clean the toilet ✅
clean the floor ✅

Bedroom:
sorting out and put away dry laundry
hang up wet laundry ✅
vacuum
wipe the windowsills ✅

The playroom/bedroom:
tidy up the toys
take nappies out of nappy bin and put in outside bin ✅
wipe the windowsills ✅

Then the office/room:
sort out storage unit ✅
put toys where they belong
sort out any rubbish
vaccum
wipe the windowsills

Landing/Laundry
put toys away ✅
put clothes away/in the wash baskets
try to make wash baskets look less overflowing 🙈😂
vaccum

I’m working on the list but I’ve had enough 🙈😴 Let’s see how much more I can get done in the next hour!!

Usually I would say no but we got an email yesterday saying that the agency we rent from is coming to do a routine check of the property for our landlord tomorrow and I don’t want them to think we’re really messy 🙈😂 I suppose if it was really bad then it wouldn’t be possible to get it all done tonight but I think it’s mainly just general mess/lack of time and energy and a toddler putting things everywhere 🙈😂
