Is it worth doing 4 nights in Gran Canaria?

Me and my partner have some time off together.
We are thinking of doing 4 nights in Gran Canaria in two weeks time.
Monday morning 6am flight -gets us there for 10.30 am
Coming back Friday at 7pm
Transfer would pick us up around 4pm Friday.
Flights £65 each return
Hotel is £250 each all inclusive
Transfer 18 euro return

Is it worth the hassle of passport control /packing etc
The sunshine would be lovely but is it worth it for 4 nights ?

Why not?? 😃 It would cost at least that much for a short break in this country ...and you would still have to incorporate travel time. Maybe on busy roads. Nothing worse than that ging back. And no sunshine here. Go for it. Enjoy. ☀️🌞☀️🌞✈️

Yes, of course. You could have lunch and drinks in the sun then spend the afternoon on the beach. Then nearly another 4 full days.

We've just come back from a week there and didn't have that much more time because we didn't get there until the evening on the first day and pretty much got up and went to the airport on the last day.

But the weather was glorious, we swam in the sea nearly every day and went on a couple of trips up into the mountains.

I lived there for a bit in my 20s, and even once I'd moved back to the UK, used to regularly go there for a weekend with friends. Enjoy!

I'd be off like a shot. You'd spend the same (or more) in a Premier Inn and eating in Witherspoon's. Bon voyage!

Booked it -thanks everyone
It's only 21-22 degrees at the minute but it's certainly better than Newcastle temps 🤣
