Help! I have no focus at all

Really hoping someone can come along and give some advice…

For around 6 months now I’ve been struggling to focus. Some days it feels like a heavy fog which feels like my eyes can’t focus and I can’t think at all. Other days, i lack motivation and clarity. It’s really affecting my life now, I’m behind at work and working at around 50% of what I used to and I lack motivation for tasks at home.

Admittedly I am not a picture of health, I am overweight, don’t eat well and my sleep goes between falling asleep on the sofa to insomnia.

Is this a lifestyle thing… will I see improvements once I change my eating, etc or is more at play here?

Brain fog is a symptom of lots of things - a good serting point is getting your bloods done. Make sure they check your thyroid.

I know how debilitating it is - it's a huge part of my long covid and it absolutely sucks 😣

how old are you? Could be peri-menopause but could also be a vitamin deficiency or a number of other things. I'd make a GP appointment for an MOT.

I’m early 30’s. Had bloods done not long ago and not peri and no thyroid issues apparently (although have been borderline previously). Had some vit deficiency which I am now on prescriptions for.
