2 days in Brighton

My girlfriend and I have 2 days in Brighton coming up at the end of the month, just looking for ideas on things to see.

We are there from Sunday lunchtime to Monday evening staying in a beachfront hotel. Already have a burlesque/comedy show booked for Sunday night, and dinner before that, but are there any must sees or dos that we should think of for the other times?

I live in Brighton.

The North Laines are a must-see. Tons of eclectic and beautiful shops.

You could visit The Yellow Book - a steampunk-themed bar/pub in York Place, just opposite St Peter's church, at the bottom of Trafalgar Street (which runs down underneath the station). That's in the North Laine (not Laines) area - which I agree is a must-see - especially Kensington Gardens (not a garden, a closed-to-traffic street). It's all fairly handy for the Royal Pavilion, too at the southern (sea) end of the Old Steine.

Great suggestion thanks, that'll be right up our street, pun intended 😁

It’s a bit of an obvious tourist spot, but I never get bored of going round the Royal Pavilion. It’s so eccentric and different from any other royal palace.

Twisted lemon is a good little cocktail bar.
Zip line on the beach.
Some great restaurants - food for friends.
Komedia (Comedy club).

Komedia is where the burlesque show is, can't wait for that

Beach box sauna- you need to book a bit in advance and have towels and swimming costume with you.
