Is it time to leave Mumsnet?

I joined when my children were at primary school. They are now in the their 20’s.
Mumsnet was a site where you could get advice, have a rant, or a laugh - some of the classic threads were hilarious. Sometimes the discussions could get a bit heated and I learnt (the hard way), that you should never start ask an AIBU if you are not prepared for a backlash, but it still felt like a community. What happened?
Mumsnet today is a different beast. Long, chat-gpt posts, bots, trolls, links to crazy sites and the likelihood that any comment you make will end up in an article in daily fail’s side bar of shame.

What has happened? I really miss the Mumsnet of old.

You can see from a few posts in this thread it’s full of trolls. I don’t understand why MN HQ don’t do more about it. Yes, there is humour, but there’s a difference between humour and 24/7 trolling.

This is an old thread. Everybody who posted on it legitimately or trolly will be dead by now.
