When was the last time you did this? I just did about a thread on here - was totally helpless for a good 10 minutes Grin

About a week ago. I was kissing my son goodnight. I did a huge fart and we were both dying 😅

Loubelle70 · 18/03/2024 22:04

Couple days ago...me and daughter...proper belly laugh cry lol. We get each other

ItWasneaMe · 18/03/2024 22:09

Properly, probably quite a few years ago. My parents were staying with us & we were listening to BBC Radio Wales with Chris Needs, who hosted a late night show. An elderly lady had phoned in and just kept repeating herself with Chris responding with the same thing. Went on for about
20 minutes.

My Mum especially was making weird noises I've never heard before. My Dad was trying not to fall off his chair and I had to pretty much crawl to the toilet, I was laughing so hard.

Never laughed so hard before or since.

I was in hospital still after my first c section...nipples were red raw, sent my DH out to get nipple shields to feed my new little DS.

He came back with nipple stickers/covers that one might wear with a sheer dress.

Well we both nearly died laughing and I couldn't talk, and I was in agony with my stitches. And then I kept randomly thinking about it hours later after he'd left.

RageAgainstTheCoffeeMachine · 18/03/2024 23:00

Yesterday afternoon. It was one of those ones that you had to be there for though.

Pixiesgirl · 18/03/2024 23:02

Not for ages, I love that being helpless with laughter feeling.

The other day with my 20yo DD. It was definitely a "you had to be there" thing but a woman on TV said "can you" then paused, I randomly said "Kan-yu West" and the two of us just totally cracked up.

Pixiesgirl · 18/03/2024 23:06

My Mam used to make me cry laugh often!

twohotwaterbottles · 18/03/2024 23:10

I watching this on insta today eating lunch at my desk. Nearly had a seizure laughing. It just got me. Laughing all over again watching it 🤣🤣🤣www.instagram.com/reel/C2zr0ZIvh1L/?igsh=MXZmNjE5cXl6d3pnMg==

There are about four people I can think of that make me belly laugh. Quite often to the point of not being able to speak - other than a tiny squeak which is enough to set us off again. But I don't see any of them that often and I do agree that crying with laughter is so therapeutic.

I rarely actually laugh out loud at 'funny videos' or posts or whatever. But in times of need, I have these two things handy which always - at least - raise a chuckle.

This, you have to watch to the end as it just gets better and better:

and the meme is my all time favourite.

The last time I read this. Actually, it was trying to read it out loud to DS who wanted to know what I was laughing at that really set me off. He was laughing at me laughing and I couldn't get the words out and we both ended up in a pile of laughter tears.

I've just tried to read that out loud to DH and I am wheezing. He is like 'huh, are you having a stroke?' Which is making me worse...

Omg. A million thank you's for this. I have found my people. 🙌🏻🤣

Time40 · 18/03/2024 23:23

I did the other day, over a particularly wonderful Viz Top Tip. Unfortunately, I was in Fleet Services' WH Smiths ... I'm not sure if anyone noticed.

MoonWoman69 · 18/03/2024 23:26

Oh I used to love a Viz Top Tip!!! 🤣🤣🤣

This evening, watching a Harry Potter satire thing on youtube

Motherofsnakes · 18/03/2024 23:45

We all used to laugh at things my Nan did (with her) regularly that would have us in tears. They are far too weird and outing 😅

An elderly man pulled out suddenly in front of our car once, completely in the wrong but called my husband a c word and it made me howl.

I sometimes get like this in work video calls and have to turn camera and mic off and say its signal. It doesn't sound remotely funny but I think just looking at everyone on the screen looking so serious or clearly doing something else just makes me think it looks like a spoof of a video call and it just all feels ridiculous...I can't describe it any better.

Raspberryjamsandwich · 19/03/2024 00:26

Place marking for this one.

SerenityNowInsanityLater · 19/03/2024 00:36

The thread got zapped but a couple of weeks ago, a poster's Center Parcs (or maybe even Butlin's, can't recall) holiday was turned upside down when she walked in on her husband in bed with another man and there was something about a crayon's involvement. The replies were priceless. I hadn't laughed so hard in ages. The crayon puns were prize winning!

Flowerpot65 · 19/03/2024 01:14

The sausages one got me too 😂
I have a horrible feeling it will come back to me when my next Ocado shop is delivered…… 😂
