Sending a pick me up

What do you send someone who’s having a stressful time? I usually go for flowers and may well do the same again this time, have also done brownies etc through the post but just wondering if anyone has sent anything else that’s a bit interesting just to say you’re thinking of them!
Woman in their 40’s, carer to someone with a life limiting illness. Works full time alongside this, mum of teens, just to give a small amount of context!

I may be in the minority here but I HATE when people send/buy me flowers. You gave to cut them, arrange them, change water, throw them out, clean the vase etc.its just another thing to do, especially for someone who is caring for someone else already. If flowers are your thing, maybe a plant? Something that will stay alive.

Otherwise brownies are a great idea, or another edible item. Someone sent me a hug in a mug gift once, that was well received, as was an uber eats voucher.

It's really sweet of you to think of your friend like this.

I love receiving flowers and often by them for myself but agree that the faff is irritating especially when you’re already time pressured.
Maybe I’ll go with brownies again, they all enjoyed them last time.
She lives a 4.5 hour drive from me and we probably get together twice a year, I wish she was round the corner so I could give her a hug in person, help out with the girls etc.

I swear by the space masks for my migraines! They’re lovely and comforting, what a good idea - thanks ☺️
