Rash on 3yr old- so many spots!

Dc3 has come out in a rash again. Gone from faint spotty to absolutely covered in 5 hours.
Not the usual culprits- food/detergents ect.

Anyone else recognise this particular rash? Dc has not had chicken pox but IMO they don't look like chicken pox spots.

Will ofc be contacting medical professionals as soon as they are open. But that won't be until 8/9 am so a fair few hours away!

Have you done the glass test?

Have they had any kind of cough/cold/virus recently? Looks very similar to the viral rashes DS often gets.

Yeah looks like the viral rash my son had a couple of weeks ago. Took about a week to go but it didn’t bother him at all.

If it fades under a glass, probably a post viral rash.
If not, just go to a&e as the doctor will send you there anyway.
