"Vibrant and fun" dress code HELP

Hi all,

Going to an engagement party on Friday and there's a dress code....Vibrant & fun !
What does it mean? I'm awful when it comes to dress codes.
I would usually wear a black dress or a brown jumpsuit with some lovely accessories but I Guess my outfits don't fit the criteria. I'm also 5 months postpartum so I don't feel comfortable in anything too short or tight

Any advice would be appreciated

Wear what you usually would, but with some over the top earrings and beads?

Black dress and sparkly deelyboppers. Deelyboppers are the EPITOME of vibrant and fun dressing.

I hate people dictating what others are supposed to wear. It makes people feel uncomfortable if the dictated style is not really them and even feel they need to buy new clothes just for that event.
I would wear whatever you want.

My DH says the same, to wear whatever I feel comfortable in .. I just don't want to annoy them by going against the "rules" 🙈
