A Sunday night game to play :)

Kids and I were bored a few weekends ago and played this silly game

You have £250k to spend TONIGHT (Sunday night) before midnight.

All the money has to leave your account by the deadline and you need to get something "physical" for it (ie no investing in Bitcoin! but don't have to get the physical goods until they're ready).

You can't fly to a different time zone etc. to cheat the deadline.

Can't give it away.

If you don't spent it all, everything you've spent gets reversed out and stuff goes back.

How would you do it?

time running out now so I am ‘buying’ gift cards from every where I can think of to the max value. So hairdressers sorted for years, groceries sorted for years, hotel breaks, Amazon. You get the picture 😂😂😂

I’d look to buy a holiday home I could share with my beautiful family. 😘

Send the money to the static caravan site manager for the caravan I have seen, it would be the perfect bolt home and is £100k.
Give DS free range at the Lego online store.
The rest would go on clothes, jewellery and bags.
At least £50k on watches.
Order all the furniture I want to replace all my old and second hand stuff.

I reckon I could do it.

I'd upgrade absolutely everything in our house and garden to the highest level I could find. So new furniture, carpets, beds, bedding, kitchenware, garden furniture, bikes. Then start on clothes and do the same, new coats, shoes, underwear, jeans.
Oh and a butt load of lovely food.

Or 250k of John Lewis gift tokens?!

Well it appears that these two (not that I'd want them, just picked the two most expensive cars on the site) can be just bought online like anything else, and that's about £220k taken care of, so you'd just have to find one for £30k to spend the rest.

Diamonds! Can you buy vouchers for flights/ holidays? Would be quite stressful trying to pick and sort a holiday in an hour!

Can a chunk go into mortgage/ pension? That would be quick.

Spa Hotel stay plus loads of treatments, presents all round, rent a large ski chalet next winter. Big donation to charity. I reckon I could do it.
