Very Congested ears for over 2 weeks

My ears are very congested and i cant hear properly, has been like this from a cold/cough over 2 weeks ago

Is there anything over the counter that i can try? I have tried sudafed congestion relief and it hasn't helped

Not sure if il be able to get anything for it from the GP

I thought I just had a cold with blocked ears and nose.
Turned out I had tonsillitis!

So I'd get it checked if it's been persistent

Otex will only help if the blockage is wax and on the outside of the eardrum.

If it is catarrh or fluid on the inside of the eardrum, you need a decongestant of some sort.
Often this is caused by a bit of mucus blocking the tube that allows the inner ear to drain into the back of the throat. One thing that can help is holding the nostrils closed with a hanky and gently blowing the nose in the hope the pressure may shift something. I do this a few times a day if needed
The other thing I swear by is Vicks Sinex last thing at night. Spray it then lie down so the liquid drains back into the throat where the end of the tube is

Try Olbas oil in boiling water in the bedroom half hour before bed - use for a few nights it works wonders

@Mysleepingangel i went 1.5 weeks ago but was told it's just viral! Over 2 weeks these congested ears are not budging. I think il go back again

Have just sent dd to the gp as her congestion nasal and ears wasn't budging weeks after a cold. Has been diagnosed with chronic rhinitis and given a steroid nasal spray to clear it. Appears her nose was very red and swollen inside and ears blocked. So just saying, you may need further medication to clear it.
