How much do you pay for your broadband?

Virgin Media contract coming up for renewal - the cheapest offer I can get out of them is £28 a month for 350MB. I don't need a landline, TV or anything, just broadband.

What are your monthly costs and how fast a speed are you meant to get for that?

30eur for fibre, max speed supposed to be 10gbs but actually 600mbs in practice, still very fast, no data cap plus TV and phone we don't use - it's french TV though :-(

I had no idea people were still getting a data cap TBH, seems very old fashioned.

What we pay is irrelevant as you won't get the same deal. Go on uSwitch and find the best deal there. Your current provider will likely offer the same plus a gift card to keep you from switching. Mine always does (Talktalk). If they don't, just switch :)

I did do a comparison on Money saving Expert and it was coming out about the same for Sky and Vodafone but 500MBs. There must be a generally usual price that people are paying for renewals these days - the companies must know this to keep them competitive and so thought it was worth having a quick ask around on here!
