If I won the lottery I'd pay someone to (lighthearted)

put me to bed. I am terrible for going to bed at a sensible time.

What would you hire someone to do?

OP posts:

Go and buy all my clothes for me for the next five or ten years. I bloody hate clothes shopping, trying things on, returning things. It would be bliss. 😊

MartineBIT · 16/03/2024 23:31

I love cooking but I hate deciding so I’d hire an executive chef and I’d be the sous chef.

Sunshineandrainbow · 16/03/2024 23:33

Dry me after swimming and fill my car with petrol.

CatLevelCare · 16/03/2024 23:34

Come round early every morning and mop all the floors before I get up.
Just feel like that would be such a good start to the day.

DoYouSmokePaul · 16/03/2024 23:35

Definitely a driver to take me to and from work (five minutes’ drive away 😂)

Personal beautician - mani pedi, lash lift, waxing, massage etc on tap.

RollaCola84 · 16/03/2024 23:37

Virtually every household task frankly but specifically emptying the bloody dishwasher ! I don't know why I hate this task so much.

Sconeswithnutella · 16/03/2024 23:38

Have a dermatologist sort my skin out (thanks menopause), my make up applied and clothes chosen. I’m rubbish at both so kind it would be nice to look good. I’d quite like someone to carry my shopping for me too and a daily massage would be great.

LBOCS2 · 16/03/2024 23:42

I'd have a housekeeper/cook. 3 or 4 hours a day, to keep on top of the household and leave us something lovely for dinner before they left.

cannonlc · 16/03/2024 23:43

Do absolutely every one of the things suggested above - surely we can have all of that ?!

TheChosenTwo · 16/03/2024 23:44

Daily hair styling and a full body massage (minus feet) on tap would be lovely thanks.

SparkyBlue · 16/03/2024 23:44

I'd have my hair blow dried professionally every time I washed it.

StJulian2023 · 16/03/2024 23:45

I’ll have a personal trainer, chef, PA, housekeeper and gardener. But most of all I’d like someone to help DS with the crazy projects he’s always working on in the garage. I’m useless at that and I wish I could be more help

LenaLamont · 16/03/2024 23:46

Wash the kitchen floor.

Clean and do the washing in general, absolutely, but more than anything, brush and wash the kitchen floor.

I'd have somebody walk in front of me everywhere throwing flowers for me to walk on.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 16/03/2024 23:51

Someone to blow dry my hair, another to be my PA and organise stuff, driver, stylist to shop for me.

hazandduck · 16/03/2024 23:55

Oh man I’ve said this so many times I would have someone employed to brush my hair for basically hours on end. It is something I hate doing but I loveee having my hair brushed. My daughters can sometimes be convinced to do it but I usually have to then put up with them covering it in hair chalk and tying it in to lots of tiny ponytails which are painful to later try and untangle 😂 (they are 6 and 4 and love playing hairdressers..!)

Also…yes to having someone do all
the chores for me except meal
prepping / planning…I hate it now but if I was loaded and had someone taking care of everything else I’d employ a nutritionist to advise me and a chef to assist me and I’d learn to cook amazing dishes myself in my beautiful enormous mansion kitchen 😄

hazandduck · 16/03/2024 23:56

And yes! Someone to read all the bloody emails the school send seriously it’s a full time job on its own 😂

Freetodowhatiwant · 16/03/2024 23:57

Full time housekeeper, full time chef, daily PT, driver for trips out of town. Can’t wait!

catinthetinhat · 16/03/2024 23:57

Pay someone to watch the 40th YouTube video my oldest DD found and the 35 cartwheel by my youngest. Today I've heard the work mum non stop and I need silence.

Schoolrefusa · 17/03/2024 00:04

I would love someone to tickle my feet or arms as I go to sleep but even with unlimited money it would be too weird if not my family😂 . A reflexology or massage appointment would be amazing too mind you and definitely high on the list

Soonenough · 17/03/2024 00:06

Personal trainer, chef , laundress, stylist and handyman available at anytime I want them .

longtompot · 17/03/2024 00:10

gestures to previous posts pretty much all of these things ^

@hazandduck Oh my! One of my most favourite things was my dd and my ds playing hairdressers and they'd brush my hair and put it up for what felt like hours. Proper asmr feels that I hadn't had since my teacher reading a story to us at the end of the week before we went home.

MissingMoominMamma · 17/03/2024 00:14

Teach me how to weight train without injury.

Cook with me.

Listen to my grief.
