So, about a month ago I lost my phone somewhere between showing my ticket to enter platform 2 Liverpool Street and the train leaving the platform. Until my phone ran out of battery 3 days later it constantly signaled LS station. Obviously I logged it with lost and found but nothing.

I decided to give it some time, had a digital detox. Three weeks later, new phone, downloaded all my shit from the cloud, whole bunch of new stuff in my wallet. Loyalty cards, used train tickets etc. basically, a whole other wallet.

Googled new name, got his insta, also moves between Norwich/london. Has no idea how his cards are in my wallet. Wishes me luck finding my phone. Has he nicked my phone??

Sounds like it or he's bought it from someone perhaps?

Aydel · 16/03/2024 22:40

It sounds like it? Or maybe bought it secondhand?

bluebeardswife7 · 16/03/2024 22:49

Well that's what I think, unfortunately all I can do is use his subway/boots points.

Can you report the IMEI number of the phone ask stolen to get it switched off? Or see if there's any other interesting/useful info out there about your phone? They might have only bought it genuinely believing it belonged to the person they bought it from but if they've used it enough for it to merge some of their info into yours, it feels like it would be a sensible precaution.

Ask him where he got his phone from and how long ago.

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 16/03/2024 23:20

He definitely has your phone, and highly likely he hasn't bought it as the seller would have wiped it!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 16/03/2024 23:21

Has he got access to your info too?

Cuckoochanel80 · 17/03/2024 01:14

Ask him
