I’ve had a bad back for months & been relying on a hot water bottle to relieve the pain. I noticed this rash on my back a few weeks ago so I’ve really cut back but the marks aren’t going away 😔

Has anyone had this and managed to get rid of it quickly ? I’m going away next month and I’m worried about being in a bikini.

@Netball01
Thanks so much for your reply. Am pleased for you that it has resolved and I feel a bit more reassured. I had just wished I had seen your original post back when you made it as I can’t imagine my mottling disappearing but 🤞. I too have been using one for months, often re-filling it with boiling water during the day when the heating effect seemed to be lessening. Feel bad about this now.
i have always had a cover on my HWB, but have now found a thick pillow cover to use as well. But won’t be putting the HWB on my legs tho!

I have the same, have a bad back & used a hot water bottle for pain relief for 9 months straight so far & multiple times a day. Extreme heat the only thing that gives me any relief & now very ugly lower back.

Cold does nothing for nerve pain or any extreme pain that even the likes of tramadol doesn’t help
