Vinted - what does this mean?

I don't know if I'm being thick here but someone has sent me a message on vinted saying:

Can you send me an inpost box?

Do they mean inpost as those postage lockers?

Inpost are the lockers - are you buying or selling? It doesn’t have to be specific inpost packaging to use the lockers though. Or are they asking you for an empty box?

Sounds like someone new who doesn’t know how it works. Do they have any reviews?

Are you buying or selling?
I don't think the person knows what they are asking for. Reply and ask them what they mean by send them an In-post box.

Do they mean they want you to choose Inpost as the delivery method if you are a buyer? Vinted sends them a postage label. You don't send them anything, no-one sends them a box.

I'm the seller.

Sold a bit on there but only ever been sent a Yodel or Evri label so I was baffled but didn't want to appear docile if it was something I just wasn't understanding.

Just checked, they've got 81 reviews so must have been on there longer than I have. I'll have to just ask them.

Do you have Inpost set as a postage option?

Maybe they mean can you send via Inpost. If they can't see it as a postage option.

Mintearo7 · 14/03/2024 20:16

Yeah I think they meant send via InPost - I just did it recently and it’s quite easy. You‘ll have to check your nearest locker on the InPost website and then change your delivery option.

Mintearo7 · 14/03/2024 20:19

p.s. go to settings then postage on your
Vinted profile to change delivery options to include InPost.
