Shogun is fantastic if you don't mind some subtitles and like political & fight-y dramas.

Only Murders in the Buiding for dramady.

Ihaveoflate · 14/03/2024 13:10

I would have replied in exactly the same way as pp!

Only Murders.. is great and the quality only dips a bit over the 3 series.

Shogun is great but a bit brutal.

Ihaveoflate · 14/03/2024 13:10

Also The Bear is good

Hamilton is a great way to spend a few hours imo!

spiderlight · 14/03/2024 13:23

Hamilton, Only Murders in the Building, Extraordinary, Dopesick. All very different though!

ScentlessAprentice · 14/03/2024 13:23

Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Angel
Life in Pieces

Communionmom · 14/03/2024 13:23

Currently watching Death and Other Details. Expected something like Only Murders in the Building but it's more drama, less comedy and more sex!

Dopesick is excellent

Also brutal, depressing and likely to make you incredibly angry 😠

But absolutely so good

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 14/03/2024 13:26

I loved the first series of Only Murders in the Building but found my concentration waning over the next two. Martin Short is fabulous in it

JaneIves · 14/03/2024 13:27

3.5 hrs of Taylor from tomorrow.... as my daughter keeps reminding me!

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 14/03/2024 13:28

Fleishman is in Trouble was also very good. Loved Claire Danes in it.

Her perspective of the hospital scene Sad

Yuckyyuckyuckity · 14/03/2024 13:28

Dopesick is incredible.

Greys anatomy if you want a very very very long series to get into (something like 20 seasons with on average 20 episodes per season!!)

Gosh yes, if forgot that was "landing " ad the kids say Grin

Newtrix · 14/03/2024 13:32

Greys anatomy for a series. Poor things has just gone on if you fancy a movie

ObliviousCoalmine · 14/03/2024 14:07

Atlanta.

Unabletomitigate · 14/03/2024 14:13

Justified; Timothy Olyphant in a cowboy hat.

LenaLamont · 14/03/2024 14:15

No Offence, if you missed it when it was on telly. Three (short) series and just cracking.

RhubarbGingerJam · 14/03/2024 14:16

Shogun.
The Artful Dodger fun undemanding romp so far.

indianabones1 · 14/03/2024 14:17

A Small Light is very good, it's about Miep Gies who was one of the people involved in hiding Anne Frank and her family.

notproofread · 14/03/2024 14:19

I second Fleischmann

TheSeasonalNameChange · 14/03/2024 14:37

Devious maids is delightful. It's based on Spanish telenovelas and is so camp and over the top. Fabulous fashion too and rich people mansions.

DancefloorAcrobatics · 14/03/2024 14:42

Just to add some more to your list:
Black Cake if you like the more serious stuff.

Also The good mothers- it's in italien so need to put up with the sub titles.

Nicelynicelyjohnson · 14/03/2024 14:44

Dopesick and Fleischmann
Also Modern Family and Welcome to Wrexham.

RunsLikeaLittleFatDuck · 14/03/2024 15:26

Shogun
Will Trent - character from Karin Slaughter books
Burn Notice - Ex spy
Mr Inbetween - Day to day life of a hit man

And then you have all the Marvel series
