Taking POP pill to the US

Hi,

I’m travelling to the US in a couple of weeks. I’m on the cerazette. Can I just stuff a strip in my hand luggage like I normally do when traveling to Europe? Do I need any documentation?

Drawing on the wise MNers as the internet is not giving me straight answers.

Thanks so much!

I would probably take the box with the pharmacy label on it, that also has your name on it. And a copy of your repeat prescription?

I've always taken meds in hand luggage in their original boxes,no problem.

I don’t have current box/prescription because my GP can’t prescribe brand specific anymore so I had to buy them through Lloyds online doctor. I have a screenshot of them green lighting the prescription. I might have an old empty box with the prescription sticker though as I’ve only recently had to swap to Lloyds.

My gp might be able to print something out though as they did give me a non brand specific prescription code.

I’ve just checked and the label is on the box from Lloyds with my prescription so hopefully that will be ok. Just paranoid as the US seems tighter on some things.
