Dh found a hard lump underneath his right testicular so I have sent him straight to gp. Gp didn’t examine him but sent straight for a scan..is it bad news ? I thought they were going to examine him first

I suspect it's much like a breast lump - they don't have x-ray vision so a scan is a sensible next step

DH had a lump and it turned out to be scar tissue

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m not a medical person but my husband has the same thing. The lump is benign and it has been there for years now. Just needs to keep an eye on it. I hope everything turns out okay for your husband. Scan is probably the best thing.

Whether the doctor felt it or not he would still have a scan asap. My husband had this last June, GP didn’t see him but referred him under the two week wait, his was a tumour, but it was benign, so while it did need to be removed it wasn’t harmful and it meant he didn’t have to have his testicle removed. He could have opted to leave it be, but it was making his skin a bit irritated.

No the exact same thing happened to my husband it was just a cyst but I think they do the ultrasound to be on safe side deffo does not mean it's bad news 🥰

When my husband went to the gp he was told it was chlamydia!

Spoiler, it wasn’t, it was mrsa

almost all lumps are benign.

I felt that lump for years and he only listened to me last night - his testicular felt different. Sorry I’m being tmi. I appreciate all your posts about personal experiences! Thank you so much
