Gotta be

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Good Place

there are other shows I love but I think these two don’t have a single bad episode. It’s all brilliant right from the pilot to the finale

Did you see Beer Bad in s4 of Buffy?? Or see any episode featuring Riley?!

I love that show, it's one of my favourites. But it's good several skippable episodes, particularly in seasons 4 and 6.

Mad Men
The West Wing
Kingdom (Korean)
Andor

I loved Schitt's Creek but it got dull at the end. Buffy was glorious but patchy (ugh Riley).

Sopranos. I wish I could find something better.

There are lots of shows on this thread that I love but very few are great from beginning to end, in my opinion. For example, Brooklyn 99 is one of my favourites but I don't like most of the last season; it feels rushed and there's a lot of recycled jokes for the sake of a cheap laugh. I have also been a Grey's Anatomy fan since ~2007 and I have rewatched it countless times but the later seasons are Not Great. It has a weird, sterile tone and I stopped caring about any of the characters Sad

For me, Schitt's Creek and Better Call Saul are brilliant to the end. I was really affected by BCS ending - I felt genuine grief.

Yuckyyuckyuckity · 13/03/2024 11:47

Breaking Bad

Better Call Saul (it's very much a slow burner and the initial couple of seasons I did think about giving up a few times but when you get to the end you realise what an absolute masterpiece the whole thing is).

Motherland

Fleabag

I may destroy you

Normal People - one of the very rare times a series/film is so much better than the book.
