Vinted refund

Vinted refunded me as a seller sent me some items in insufficient packaging damaging the items. The seller wants me to return the items but won't provide a return label. How could I get a return label off them? I don't see why I should pay for better packaging, cellotape and petrol driving miles out my way to the nearest post office. Is there a home collection service as I don't think she will let this go and Vinted groups call people scammers who don't send damaged items back.

If vinted has refunded etc it should be listed as completed for the sale, in the message details top right corner is an i. Choose block/report from there, if vinted refunded and did not specify returning then case closed really if seller won't pay for reposting.

You're not obligated to send the items back if Vinted have ruled in your favour and refunded.
However Royal Mail do a collection service for postage bought online, you'd have to book this and make sure you have stipulated a collection - they can also bring your (prepaid) label to save you having to print it out.

The seller messaged and said she won't pay for postage and I can keep the damaged items if we resolve outside of PayPal instead and she will give me a reduced refund. This is against Vinted's policy to settle outside of the platform. What good is damaged items to me.

Vinted have refunded you and closed the case. You don't have to send anything back. Vinted aren't expecting you to else they w out of have asked for that before you were refunded. Just block her and carry on with your life.

Have you actually received the refund or is it pending?

If it's been refunded just bin it.

If Vinted have ruled in your favour and closed the case then you don't need to return the items. You don't need to converse with the seller any further and just direct them to Vinted customer services with any further questions.

In some cases Vinted will enforce a refund as long as items are returned. As part of Vinted T&C's this does mean the buyer pays for the return shipping even if the item is not as advertised, etc. in your case this doesn't sound like it's what happened as you've already been refunded.

I would just ignore them.
