Have a party with about 35-40 people coming. Some coming just after dinner time (7pm) others a bit later. Mostly adults, some teens.

So far I have:
36 burgers
45 sausages
Two big bowls pasta salad
Cheese (6 types) crackers
3 bags crisps (sharing size)
5 bags tortilla chips w salsa and guacamole dips
Carrots, cucumber, pitas and falafel w hummus
Olives
Pickles
6 baguettes/french sticks
Giant baked (not soft) pretzels
48 cupcakes
Beer/soft drinks/wine

Anything I'm missing?
Anything I can add at not too much expense to help full it out?
Thanks!

That's quite a lot of people!

You will deffo need more crisps....

I would also think about making or buying coleslaw, and maybe a couple of couscous or rice salads?

Corn on the cob is also good for burger/hotdog type buffets - you can even buy them frozen.

I would also buy some sourdough par-baked baguettes that you could put in the oven at short notice, or keep if you don't need.

I'd do at least enough burgers for everyone to have one each. I'd say 50 burgers and 50 sausages sounds reasonable. What about a few pizzas or quiche?

Do you have oven space for a few big pizzas?

Will it be self serving or will there be people dishing it up? We had similar for our wedding, but one thing we found was that you'd get some people taking 2 burgers and no sausages, some taking 4 sausages and no burgers, that sort of thing. So I would say you might need some more of those bits otherwise you may get people who end up not being able to have a burger when they want one

But apart from that it sounds good

I'd say more sausages, burgers, rolls and crisps as teenagers can eat alot, also some treat things. You could always do a few pizzas that can be ate cold.

Thank you!

Yes, I was thin a large pizza or two would be a good idea. Definitely more crisps on the list too :-)

Trying not to be stuck prepping anything/cooking during the party (aside from the BBQ). So these ideas all sound good :)
