I love musicals. If I've had a bad day I love a little listen.

Russel Crowe just does not give me what I need at all in Les Mis. When I've seen the stage productions Javert has been so authoritarian and strong. Crowe in One Day is just so rubbish.

I know it absolutely doesn't matter at all in life but it really irritates me!! 😅

People who describe things as “lovely” on selling groups / websites

people who say “needs gone asap” on selling websites

Parking is allowed along our very busy High Street. Fair enough.
I am enraged by anyone who cannot do a neat parallel park in one go, or worse, parks on the 'wrong' side of the road, expecting two lanes of traffic to come to a halt while they cross over and faff about trying to get into, or out of the space. Grrr...

Kit Kat wrappers. Why did they change them from the eminently recyclable foil & paper? The new wrappers are really tiresome.

People who describe things as “gorgeous” or "stunning" on selling groups/websites.

People who have no sense... I dropped a jar of coffee at the checkout today.. Obviously apologised.. Cashier called for a cleaner... Man behind me who hadn't even reached the other end of the belt shouting on he could have been hurt by the glass proceeded to start picking bits of it up... I told him quite firmly I obviously hadn't meant to do it but if he didn't want to be cut why was he handling it? Then I just paid and walked off.

I can't stand it when people use the expression "cross".

Once on a different forum, this woman gave me a load of unsolicited advice that I didn't invite and when I said something like, "I was asking a question about my job, not my love life. Please stop giving me advice about dating."

and I got this response, "Now you are really making me very CROSS! You are being very rude and I shan't put up with being made cross when I'm trying to help!"

And it conjured up images of an angry Reception class teacher who couldn't control the children, stamping her foot and pursing her lips.

I also can't stand the expression, "give over". I find both very patronising and outdated ways of communicating frustration.

Totally irrational of me, I realise! And both phrases are common here on MN.

That Topsy and Tim off the tv aren't actually twins, or in fact even siblings.

Does not affect my day to day life at all but makes me v angry.
