We’re divided in our household - 3 of us love them, the other 2 run away in horror!😁

What food/s divide your household?

I'm allergic to them - they give me d&v

Which is annoying as i do quite like them, and they put them on/in everything these days!

DH and I and all our young adults are fond of avocados. The dividing thing in our family is olives. They're the only thing DH won't eat, and DD2 doesn't like them but she's a fussy eater generally. The rest of us could eat them like sweets.

Huge fan. I’m a native Californian so I grew up with them growing in the garden (as well as the neighbours’ gardens. You’d be playing at a friend’s house and grab an avocado from the tree to eat). My kids love guacamole but won’t eat avocados. They upset their stomachs. I eat them fairly regularly even though, according to my blood type, I shouldn’t.

I am the only one in my household who loves them. Like them in a salad, on toast and with prawns and touch of mayo in a sandwich/baguette

Re olives - used to hate until I had gordal olives - yum yum

Beetroot.
I love it, DH cannot stand it.

I love avocado too.
DH not so fussed.

I love a good Hass avocado, but they are such sneaky little fuckers - you can't tell what you are going to get until you cut them open, and half the time they are either stringy or have black bits or are ripe on the outer bit but hard and dull towards the core.

Fuerte avocados are only good in a sandwich.
