I just want to share what my daughter said today

We were in the car driving to visit my parents for Mother's Day and out of nowhere, from the backseat, my 6 year old DD said 'you know what? I love this life I'm living.' ❤️

I just wanted to share and have it noted somewhere. I'm in the depths of PND after having DD2 14 weeks ago and this comment makes me think maybe I'm doing a better job than it seems, sometimes.

That's so lovely 😻 I'm sorry you've been suffering with PND, I've been there and it's so very tough.
Someone made my day today by not just thanking me for the service I gave but asking me if I had children and telling me they appreciated all the staff who had worked today and not seen their own mothers/children to make their day special.
It was a lovely feeling to be appreciated like that 💕.

That is so lovely.... children often have the knack of saying gems just when we need to hear such things . I hope it gave you a wee boost , your daughter obs feels very loved, cared for and happy. Well done to you x
