I’d go 12-13 as once they’ve left junior they generally don’t keep wearing them for long..

XS adult as once they get them and they've been washed once they'll shrink slightly. In our area they do wear them for a few years on mufti day at senior school etc.

thank you!

they’re pricey so don’t want to make a mistake!

We've always done with small adult as our DC like them baggy!

SneakySnakeEx · 10/03/2024 17:48

Xs adult

dreadisabaddog · 10/03/2024 17:53

We went XS adult. Hoodies are fine a bit loose and baggy and while year 8 DD doesn't wear hers constantly anymore, she does wear it in the house in winter as an extra layer. Basically if you go 12-13 and she grows out of it before she's lost interest you'll get the blame 😂

SpringOfContentment · 10/03/2024 18:10

They come up massive.
12-13 will be absolutely fine.
My 14 year old is currently wearing an XS hoodie from his youth group, and it's spacious.

Our order form came with a recommendation that most children leaving primary would fit an adult XS. My dd is smaller than average and currently wears size 8-9-10 years, we got her the 12-13 years so she can get a couple of years out of it.

Shityshitybangbang · 10/03/2024 19:36

Yes def xs adult. I got my daughter 12/13, fits but not a lot of room especially after being washed

Shityshitybangbang · 10/03/2024 19:36

Oh my daughter is rather small for her age.
