Feeling grateful and loved

I have 2 teens who I have bought up alone and they have made me feel so appreciated and loved today.
They both got me a card and wrote lovely words in them without anyone else’s prompting (it’s only us but when they were younger my sibling would help them)
My youngest saved his pocket money and bought me an electric mug warmer for my bedroom which is so so thoughtful and sweet!
My eldest is working today but has told me not to cook tea as he’s sorted a takeaway for us all for after work so we can all watch a movie together and eat a treat tea which is also so so kind and thoughtful and sweet!
We are a neurodivergent family and I struggle allot with my mental health which I’m really putting my all into working on (again, or rather, ongoing) but today has really made me smile and made me feel loved and I am so grateful to have such kind hearted teenagers!
I’m sorry if this sounds boasty or braggy, I don’t mean it to, I just don’t have many real life people and It feels weird to call them or text them just to say this and I don’t use social media sites but I really wanted to share this lovely feeling out to the world in some way.

Perfect example of reaping what you sow with dc!! You are a great dm and have been suitably rewarded!!
Well done op. 2 fantastic additions to society!

I loved reading this and it's making me smile thinking about my little boy growing up (which I've been feeling emotional about recently!) thinking that I'll have days like this ahead with him! Thanks for sharing xxx

They sound like lovely kids @Pinkmilkandcartoons. You are clearly doing a good job of raising them in that they appreciate you and needed no prompting.
You must be feeling all warm and fuzzy inside🙂

Enjoy.

Doesn't sound "braggy" at all, it's actually really nice to read such a positive post. You and your children all sound very loving 🙂
