Is Sunak keeping the Hester story going so he can bury this Rwanda story?

@user8800 - yes. What kind of acceptance is there is the Conservative Party? The chances are that the general public are more liberal.

Sunak was not elected. What credibility does he have left? Reject the money and he can appeal to the centre credibly but the hard right will scream. More votes to Reform.

Keep the money and he is a bought man. No one will vote for that either. What are you voting for? A diverse party funded by a racist? It is incoherent. I do not believe a majority would be faintly interested in Sunak or their next leader on that basis. They are doomed.

The Tory party may well be very diverse. But it also seems to contain an awful lot of racists and misogynists as well.

Its diverse in the sense that they hate a diverse range of people.

It’s diverse in that it’s got the widest array of fruit loops you could ever imagine.

I'd say it's less diverse than it was. So many moderates have gone, only the odd and wacky are left.
