Proud of my sons

I have 14 year old twin boys. At the moment I am they're least favourite person, behind friends, fortnight and football.
Today they are being lovely with me, one reminding me we need to love ourselves and one wants to take me out for lunch to the new Japanese place ( he wanted to pay, I said we would share)
I even was allowed a hug.
I love seeing the men they are turning into.

Awe that's lovely op, you've clearly done a good job x

I love that. Enjoy your lunch.

KeenAnt · 10/03/2024 10:07

i was on your thread where your son had been shouting cunt repeatedly at you!!!

AmaryllisChorus · 10/03/2024 10:08

It's gorgeous when your teens suddenly demonstrate you are not invisible but valuable and loved. Enjoy your lunch. Happy Mother's Day.

@KeenAnt I know, and today he's being a true darling. It's all part of the rich tapestry of teenagers. Since that day he took his punishment, apologised without asking and hasn't repeated the behaviour.

No, it really isn't.

i don’t think a young teen repeatedly shouting cunt to his mother should be seen as the “rich tapestry” of parenting teenagers.

Let's agree to disagree, he's my son, it's the first and only time he's done it and he's learned his lesson.

There's absolutely no need to bring up a previous thread and use it to beat OP with when she's trying to enjoy a lovely day.

It's just nasty behaviour.
