Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

Happy Mothers Day to those of you who will be celebrating it 💐I hope you all have a fabulous day!

I've had a bit of a lie in but woken with a rumbly stomach - ready for breakfast. We're having hot cross buns when everyone's up so I'm waiting impatiently while I drink my cuppa.

I've been productive without doing anything this morning - the washer's just finished its first load of towels that I put on a timer last night, and the beef for dinner's cooking away in the slow cooker 😊 I also had a quick tidy round while the kettle boiled so there's only a few pots to wash up now.

We don't have much planned for today - I want to attach 12 beaded tassels to my Eras jacket. That's finished then until more beads arrive. Might get the other beads out and make a friendship bracelet or two if the girls fancy it, or make a start on glasses 🤔

Dd1 did say she'd go to Lidl for me if we needed anything topped up - think she might regret that if we do since it's currently raining 🌧 and she picked the smallest coat imaginable when they both had new ones.

I'm going to 'force' the girls into a round of 221B Baker Street later on 🤣 They usually try to avoid it but I figure today's the ideal day to get them to play 🤷‍♀️

Beef for tea, with roast spuds, yorkshires and veg. Followed by some sort of sweet treat but not sure what yet.

Early showers all round, or I might have a long everything bath 🤔 then either more crafting, or my book, before an early one ready for the coming week 💤

Hoping for a nice brunch, time to read my book, a session on the peloton, a long walk with the dog and the whole family with the kids not fighting, an afternoon pottering in the kitchen watching Buffy with the kids, an early supper, a hot bath and an early night!

At some point laundry and music practice will happen but DH will sort all that out.

Sounds boring but on a grim day it's a dream!

I'm having a lie in because I've got ten days at work coming up, with only one day off in the middle of it. Then later I'm going to enjoy a roast dinner and watch the football with my eldest son whilst the youngest plays on his ( the eldest's) computer. It has the better games on it apparently and he's taking his chance on it whilst his brother is distracted 😉

It will be an early night for me tonight as I'm up at 3:45/4 am tomorrow.

H now ill so me & kids taking MIL for lunch with his credit card and he will be in bed.

Not sure after lunch, hadn't planned on him being ill. TV, showers.

I don't know but I am sure something will happen!

Having a low key morning, waiting for food shopping to turn up and going to do the cat litter trays and then baths / hair.

This afternoon we're off out for a mother's day dinner with 20 of the inlaws 😊 (DP has a big family!). Someone else cooking me a roast is the ultimate mother's day gift.

Probably just a film and snacks later.

Morning! It’s a beautiful day here so I’ve just gone round opening all the windows. I had a lie in this morning and was woken up by DH and DS giving me chocolates, pastries, coffee and flowers :) we’re now all just chilling out and having a nice, slow morning.

This afternoon we’re off out for a roast lunch with in the in-laws and then back home where we’ve got a lovely bottle of red wine to open. I did all the washing and housework yesterday so I can properly relax today. Bliss! I might do that more often.

Morning all! I'm a little tender after to much wine last night. Was out for a meal with friends had a good time though so worth the hangover.

DH is full of the cold and is on day two of bed rest.

Ds gave me flowers, wine and a candle for mother's day. He says he's tired so he's retreated to his man cave to play his Xbox.

I'm m just about to have a bath and read my magazine. Want to read some more of my book and tackle some more of a very annoying cross stitch that seems to be getting the better if me

My DD gave me for Mothers Day - a hideous cold! So I'm back in bed having let the dogs out and fed the cats and made a coffee. Actually I'm not sure if she even knows it's Mother's Day!
So do not plan on doing much. Nothing special planned and don't feel up for anything anyway. In fact the dogs will be lucky if they get more than a brief excursion. My cold has not taken away my appetite though so will soon go back down for breakfast and a kitchen tidy up. However I've got a sinus headache and don't feel like moving.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I had a rough second half of the night as it was my turn (we alternate) with our 3 month old and he wanted to play Let's Stay Wide Awake at 4am Through to Morning 😅 partner made me a bacon sandwich this morning whilst I stayed in bed and is cooking me a mini roast later on. Gave me flowers and a bottle of Prosecco (which we opened and drank last night!) and a card from LO. Today we'll be watching the super Sunday footie matches and will have a normal day other than I will take the day off cooking 😀

I had a lie-in until 8am then came downstairs to a cuppa and presents. DH did good with the Boots beauty box so that was a nice surprise!

I've been to see my granddaughter this morning and then home for pastries. Later on, MIL/FIL will be over for a roast and we will do a dog walk if it stays dry here. Tutoring for an hour this evening and then prep for a busy week!

Morning everyone
It's a quiet one here today. DH and I were at A&E last night. Got home at 6am. DH stayed up to chat to MIL who was emergency babysitting and get DC up, and I slept until 9.
DH is now asleep on the sofa with the duvet. I'm having tea and toast. DC watching TV and drawing.
I'm going to tidy the house, put some washing on, might make toasted sandwiches for lunch and we've got some kind of Gousto for tea (DH in charge of that). Bit of crafting if we can be bothered this afternoon and we'll watch a film later but it'll be baths and early nights all round here!

I was up at 7, had breakfast (DH was in bed), had the washer on, loaded the dishwasher, vacuumed and mopped through downstairs rooms. Our AC will be here later, so that will be nice.

Been up since 6am, pottering in the kitchen, feeding wildlife, reading a book in peace with a big cup of tea, journalling with a big cup of frothy coffee.

Washload on, lamb slow cooking in the oven. Both DC are adult. DS1 came to celebrate earlier in the week on his day off. DS2 on his way over for lunch. I might have to get out of my PJs!

Good morning everyone. I’m struggling a bit this morning as it’s my first Mother’s Day without my mum (we lost her in October) and it’s also my birthday today so I’m just really missing her.

I’ve been spoilt by dh and the kids and have had some lovely presents though which is good.

Today I plan on doing very little although we do need to rip up the remaining carpets ready for the new ones to be fitted tomorrow and take them to the tip. Dd9 has a birthday party to go to this afternoon and we’ll no doubt have family popping in and out through the day for my birthday.

We’re ordering a takeaway for tea as i refuse to cook on my birthday! Then I’ll have a couple of glasses of wine before showers and bed. I’ve got the week off work so can have a nice, quiet week to myself this week too which is desperately needed!

I was just wondering if I need to go to the supermarket before it shuts at 4pm.

I'm semi following the BRAT diet due to gastro problems but with variations, like pulses and well cooked vegetables to go with white rice, the occasional cup of tea, scrambled eggs.

Should travel later if I'm up to it as lots of work to do on relative's place before house clearance. I want this to be as simple as it can be. It's going to be cold though as the heating hasn't been on so a hot water bottle is my friend 🥶

Not a nice day today, cold and rainy, so we're going to make Cullen Skink with some smoked fish we were given.
I am going to hang some new curtains and do some hoovering round, but not many plans, other than to finish my book.
Hummus and spinach for brunch today, possibly cheese, bacon and potato pie for dinner.

The dog refused to go for a walk with DH so I took her 🙄 while he collected a takeaway Sunday dinner from the pub which we enjoyed with a bottle of Buck’s Fizz 😋
Both DD and DS video called which was lovely.
Nothing much planned for the rest of today.

I won 221b Baker Street today 🥳 I think dd2 had it solved long before me & "let" me win though 🤣

Going to sew on my tassels now, then check on the slow cooker beef I've ignored allllll day so far 😋
