We have decided to go to Greece next year but I don’t know anything about it! I have spent days researching the best place to go but feel like I am going round in circles!

We are a family of four, dc will be 14 and 9, I don’t want a massive lively strip just somewhere with nice restaurants etc, lots to do and a nice hotel with large nice pool (more pool than beach people) I think I have settled on sadari in corfu but has anyone got any recommendations?

Bonus points if it is a hotel with jet 2 as that’s who I will go with!!! Budget is about 3k end of July early August.

I always say Kefalonia as it's so beautiful. Greece will be really hot at that time of year.

Our first "family" holiday in 1998 was 3 weeks on Samos at Hotel Daphne. We went to the beach, did walks up the Nightingale Valley as well as touring the island and doing a day trip over to Ephesus in Turkey.
My then 10 year step son taught me to snorkel in the hotel pool. We learned the Sirtaki and were given personal lessons by the local mayor was we joined in so well and with enthusiasm at the evening dancing events. It was fun.
As with all holidays we had rules, go somewhere where there is a mix of activities, relax for the first 3 or 4 days, plenty of physical stuff to do.
I have also been to Kalymnos and my parents used to go to Karpathos, so can recommend these as well.
