You know those threads about what brings you joy/makes you happy/cheers you up etc? I like those. It makes me happy to read all those lovely things.

I feel like today might be a good day for a Mug Appreciation one. China cups, cups and saucers, thermos, travel mugs etc also accepted.

So here's my favourite mug 🦇

Mine is a large ish mug with a red panda face on green background, came from the zoo after a trip to feed the red panda. I have since found (and brought) the penguin one in same set. Hoping to find more!

It was a Kath Kidston one that someone bought me before they died but it has a crack in it so can't use it now. So now it's a big round white one with embroidered style hearts around it, £3.99 from TkMaxx. I bought it for the shape and colour. I love big round mugs in light colours. For some reason the tea tastes better.

My favourite mug to drink out of is one of my friend's collection of Emma Bridgewater mugs. Asked Santa for one for Christmas but he refused to spend £20 on a mug!

I have some Emma Bridgewater mugs but they’re like thimble sized cuppas.

I've got that one too. I'm drinking from it right now. Also got the same one with rainbow print.

This is my current regular coffee vessel - it's quite big, and feels nice to hold. I recently broke 'my' mug which was a big bulb shaped reactive glazed one, and I haven't yet found a suitable replacement so this one is my fallback choice.

This is mine - my best friend bought it for me for no particular reason and it makes me smile everyday. No one else is allowed to use it!

@Blondeissimo I love Glosters' pottery. I wish I had more of it. This was a birthday present to myself last year. I had to choose between bats and pumpkins because I couldn't justify both.

It's a slippery slope! I'm on a Glosters buying ban at the moment as I have no more room for new mugs. Sad times. But then I remembered I still have a crowd funder mug on the way to me later this year. Hurrah!
