I've had a basic 4.5l one for a few years, I love it but it's not big enough and it's now on its last legs!!!

I like the idea of two cooking areas - are the ones with baskets/shelves easier than having draws?

I'd love to hear from people who have either.

Ninja Dual AF400

SpringSprungALeak · 10/03/2024 15:41

I have the 'sur la table' from Costco. It was something like £90 plus vat. 2 drawer. Surprisingly small footprint for the internal size

SpringSprungALeak · 10/03/2024 15:42

I haven't had one with shelves, but for what I cook, the drawers are better. I cook a lot of veg in it & even things like (vegetarian) sausages are good in there because I can just shake them.

Invisimamma · 10/03/2024 15:43

Ninja duo one, it's so good. The cheaper ones are fine but not quite as good imo.

NorthernGirlie · 10/03/2024 15:43

We've got a 2 drawer Ninja. Dual something... it's great. Can't compare as it's the only 1 we've had. If it broke tomorrow I'd buy another immediately!

I had a generic air fryer from Lidl for ages and upgraded to a dual zone ninja in the black Friday sales and it's so good.

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 10/03/2024 15:48

Like a PP I had a single drawer cheap one before and upgraded to 9.5l ninja 2 drawer on Black Friday. With extra nectar points and cashback I think the actual cost worked out about £132.

I have used it so much, it's also great if you are lazy and haven't quite got around to cleaning the other drawer yet.....

I had a tefal actifry. Upgraded to a ninja dual drawer. The actifry paddle meant that it cooked well, I miss the stirring action. The Ninja is quicker to cook. I bought just before I was aware of the single drawer version. I wish I had the larger single drawer, I find the small footprint of the individual drawers restrictive.

Thanks for the info.

I'm currently looking at this one as I like the idea of being able to use it as two small or one large.

I still have my old Actifry- that's the best for chips!

@Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky totally agree!

Catopia · 10/03/2024 20:39

If you go drawers I'd go two drawers. We got a one drawer one from MIL and both love it but wish it had a second drawer!
