Vinted seller can’t print label and wants me to cancel and rebuy?

Bought item on Vinted last week. Seller wants me to cancel and rebuy as she can’t print InPost shipping label. Am I right in thinking that I should just wait until she cancels herself, decides to print a label or Vinted automatically refunds?

I was the seller in this case. I didnt have a printer and couldnt print. It’s easy enough to cancel and rebuy with an option that doesnt need a printer, so if you want the item i cant see why you wouldnt do it?

I don't think it matters either way, I've done both and it's not negatively impacted on my feedback.

Make her cancel

From vinted website: 'We automatically assign a one-star rating to any buyer or seller who manually cancels their order (except the first time).'

Yep I would get her to cancel too. I once cancelled an item I was selling to resell it to the seller for a genuine mistake and put that as the reason and I still got negative feedback automatically. So she should get it not you.

This happened to me, they then relisted at a higher price! Said the label machine in the shop wasn’t working but not sure why they couldn’t have just gone somewhere else. Maybe wait for them to run out of time to post unless it’s something you really want.

This is what makes me hesitant to cancel. Seller is getting towards the end of her window for sending anyway....

She should be the one to cancel if the fault is her end. She should have made sure she removed any postage method she couldn't use.
As others have said Vinted will leave automatic bad feedback to whoever has cancelled, although I think this can be amended if you want to.
