That would be ok to listen to for adult, 16yr old and 12 yr old.
Is there such a thing?

My son and I really like Annika ( detective one with individual crimes) both on BBC Sounds and 50 Things That Make the Modern Economy. Both are around 15 mins long per episode.

We all loved Cabin Pressure on trips and it’s suitable for all ages, kids and adults. Not strictly speaking a podcast, but a radio sitcom. Really funny and we still reference it regularly in everyday life.

We really like No such thing as a fish, it's the people that write/research QI. Lots of interesting facts and it makes me laugh. Lots of episodes too and they last about an hour

We love Greg Jenner’s You’re Dead to Me. They take a historical figure or event or things like The History of Football and discuss with a comedian and an academic. Greg is a historian and worked on Horrible Histories so it’s interesting and informative but in a lighthearted way. There’s a full version which is about an hour but also a radio edit which was originally on Radio 4 I think so is a bit shorter (and with possibly some racy bits taken out!).

We also like Lucy Worsley’s Ladykillers which, as the name suggests, looks at female murderesses from a feminist perspective and explores their backgrounds, social structures and struggles of the time which may have influenced them than just focusing on the actual crime. Also very interesting and informative.

Ologies.

hundreds of episodes on all sorts of things. Go for smologies episodes if you want guaranteed 'clean' (edited for swears).

The Infinite Monkey Cage is good. It's science based and quite funny. We tend to listen to it on longer journeys with our DC.
