Best intentions defeated by sweet tooth…

How can I stop the 3 pm craving for a pick me up?

It’s pure comfort seeking as the stress of the working day builds up, to take the edge off. I eat really well all around, fill up on fibre and protein and not really hungry but without this little reward just feel like if I can’t possibly face another call, another meeting.

Has anyone managed to break this habit / reward seeking within constraints of office life - can’t exactly go for a walk / have a bath to relax…

I’m in the same situation only worse, so I have no advice, but am here to see what others can offer!

I sit and online shop for clothes that are too small for me (without buying!) to convince myself not to have the pick me up. Also looking at Pinterest recipes for whatever it is I’m fancying until I’m bored of thinking about the treat and give up 😂

A low calorie hot chocolate often ticks the box for me.
the options one is popular, though I’ve actually found the Asda own brand one is best, and around 40 calories a cup.

I agree with a low cal hot chocolate.

Something really sweet that you can't eat enough of for it to be a problem?

Eg, I could eat chocolate for ages, but I also love marshmallows but I can only eat a few and then it's too sickly. So it's a nice hit of sugar that I like but can't eat enough for it to be too bad for me.

Any suggestions to have "a couple of squares" of dark chocolate are wasted on me. No thank you.
