I knew it was bad, but even so still found myself shocked by the Sarah Everard documentary.
So many opportunities to catch him before it escalated so tragically, but I think the most shocking was the WhatsApp messages. Truly appalling things that they all felt comfortable saying to colleagues, which to me completely destroys the "few bad apples" argument often put forward.
So, if you work for the Met or another police force, what changes in attitudes, expectations of colleagues have you seen? Are officers calling colleagues out for unacceptable "banter" or has nothing changed?
