Fake Funeral - theories?

Reading this strange story in DM(sorry!) - any theories? Only thing I can think of is it being done as a threat to the family of the missing man, if he is a hostage maybe but why in London!?!

TikTok stunt? I'm with you though, I think it's very interesting.

Gosh that’s weird. Can only assume that whoever organised it has reason to mislead people over the death/not death of the missing man. But can’t really work out why someone would want or need to do that.

Art School or Film or Drama School degree show stunt?
Bloody odd and possibly misuse of public building.

I read the comments and this was interesting but doesn't explain the elaborate funeral.

This young man has a typical student instagram account but hasn't posted publicallt since 2022. He could of course have just changed his settings then but I found that strange but equally if he had gone to work for dark forces, the insta account wouldn't exist anyway. The insta account is sad to see now he is missing and the subject of such mystery, just a young man enjoying his life.
