Please don’t judge.

i slept with someone in October/November last year and pretty much two days later he told me had chlamydia. I tested straight away but it was negative so I thought I was safe.

3 weeks ago I did another test as I had some funky yellow/green mucus and what I thought was thrush. But I also haven’t had a period since January (not pregnant).

Turns out I had caught it. I took a weeks worth of antibiotics and thought that was it.

the last couple of days iv had extremely bad pain in my cervix/internal area and really bad cramping. Like extreme period pains.
im in so much pain. Iv felt my cervix and it’s so painful, I can’t really insert a finger as im so swollen and sore. I’m cramping really badly.

im so upset. I rang the doctors this morning and explained I’m in a lot of pain and said what’s going on. They booked me an appointment.

When I turned up it was a male junior doctor, he was extremely rude and dismissive and kept telling me I should have seen a female doctor.

anyway after he went to speak to another male doctor iv been told to go to the gynaecology clinic tomorrow.

iv just found a fleshy painful lump on the entrance of my vagina as well which i think it causing me my most pain and swelling so now im panicking lots. Im cramping still.

Is there any chance you could be pregnant?

Firstly stop prodding about up there! It will make things worse.

When you see a doctor ask for swabs again. It's the only way to get an answer. Regarding infection anyway.

I would complain about the doctor too. He absolutely should be able to assess you the same way a female doctor should.
