are they still doing limit of 100ml bottles etc in hand luggage ?
son is going next week and I don’t wanna be putting tin deodorant etc in his bag if they take them off you still

Last time I went they did (in an October last year), though not all countries do and there’s talk of some airports dropping it.

It's dependant on the country/airport so you will need to check on your particular flights.

Yes they are, and they give you one tiny plastic bag for your stuff and if it doesn't fit, they throw it out. So you can't even take your own, larger see through bag.

Depends on the airport. Check on their website. A new generation of scanners are being introduced which should end all the ridiculous pantomime with liquids in hand luggage. Not before time.

Some airports now have the new machines where you don't need to limit or keep liquids separate, but until all airports do there's not much point of in veering away from the current liquid rules as you'd need airports both out and back to have them (unless you'll use / dump toiletries between travelling out and travelling back).
