What is something you will never use/see/own because of their adverts?

Some brands or shows just have the most annoying, repetitive adverts and it just puts you off using or watching them.

For me it's Norton Antivirus software and the Apple adverts with the kid karate chopping wood or the guy with the fish. They drive me potty!

DH says Impractical Jokers. The ads were on so much that he has vowed to never watch the show.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has this?

And if the 'slag' thing hadn't been horrible enough and if I DID eat Pot Noodles, I would definitely stop buying them now they have those ads with the nasty sucking sound of people eating them messily. It makes us feel sick and all clamour to turn the TV down and look away - which surely can't be an advertiser's actual intention?

Also, I truly hate those ableist ads from whatever car sales company it is, where they use no sound at all. They've obviously designed it so that people notice the silence in the middle of the other normal ads and then purposefully look to the screen, where they will then see the big 'deals' flashing up on the screen. All very well if you can see them, but surely they must realise that blind people are not only thus fully excluded but will probably worry that their telly has broken or that they've had a power cut. Just so mean.

Yes, I used to actually like the occasional Pot Noodle, but that advert with the disgusting noises makes me nauseous. Can't imagine buying or eating them now. Who wants to buy a food that they associate with nausea?

Yes every woman has periods and has leaks every now and then.

I loathe most adverts these days tbh and tend to just mute them, I find them really moronic. This is one of the few ads I've ever liked ( and some Guinness ones, back in the day ).

A Nike sports bra after they put Dylan Mulvaney in one to do a parody of women exercising. Have you no idea how hard and how expensive it is to find a decent sports bra for active women who have substantial boobs? I found it so ignorant and disrespectful.

Octopus. I have ClassicFM on during the day and it feels like every ad break 'this is what real customer service sounds like' in that irritating headmistressy voice.

I really hate those. The people sound quite vulnerable. No one actually talks about energy companies like that.

Not likely to book with On the Beach anytime soon either.
