Are there cool slippers my 17 year old son might wear if I bought them for him?

Our house is a bit draughty and he's coughing and sneezing a lot.

I don’t think slippers will help coughing and sneezing. But if he doesn’t like slippers then he won’t wear them. And are you sure he doesn’t wear them because he perceives them as uncool. Personally I never wear slippers (despite having cold feet most of the time) because I don’t like the sensation of wearing shoes. Slipper socks might be a compromise (but I invariably shed those too).

My 15yo won't wear slippers but loves fluffy socks (mainly Christmas ones worn all year round).

My nieces had fur lined crocs for Christmas that my kids were quite jealous of. They were that kind of so ugly it's cool vibe.

Thick socks, either snuggly fleece ones or nordic woollen ones depending on personal style

DS and his uni housemates have finally started wearing these around their draughty old house. It's a miracle.

Sliders and socks

16 yo will only wear sliders with socks (which to me looks completely ridiculous) but 19 yo will wear Ugg boot style

Absolutely! I can't, but one lad got them for Christmas so my DS (and the other house-sharer apparently) asked for them as (February) birthday present, and Granny obliged, delighted for a 'sensible' request for once.
