My parcel has been "manifested for delivery".

Can anyone tell me what this means please? Is this EVRI's way of trying to assure me that my delivery, which is already 4 days late is going to reach me eventually, or is this technical jargon? How long does the manifestation process usually take?

Just go back to the supplier or request a chargeback from your bank. Goods have not been delivered.

Maybe whoever supplied them will stop using Hermes aka Evri if you and others do this.

A manifest in shipping or delivery terms is just a list of what is being carried on a particular ship, aircraft, lorry, whatever on a specific journey. A list of its cargo basically.

So if yours has been manifested, it means it is now on The List.

OP, have you ordered a poltergeist?

They rebranded to Evri because there is Evri chance your parcel is not getting delivered

😂 Good one! 😂

You'll get a text or email soon saying they they attempted delivery but no reply. You'll turn arrange for them to investigate where it is, twice, then you'll ask for a call back from them. This will never happen. What does happen is you receive a text stating that the goods are being returned to the supplier.

Out of a several hundred parcels my business has sent through Evri, they've lost two. One of which was international. They get a bad rep, but they are no worse then the others really.

I agree. There’s so many mentions of them losing parcels because they handle so many parcels. Therefore as a number, they’re going to have one of the highest instances. As a % it’s very low.

Everyone was horrified that I sent my wedding dress by them, but I didn’t give it a second thought.

It means they are willing the delivery of your parcel into existence.

You should join them. Picture vividly your parcel being delivered to your home.

Yes, this is what I imagined although with an alien invasion twist. The thread title kind of makes me want to run off to the preppers board.

I've had lots delivered by Evri but never seen this!
Hopefully it means it's out for delivery
My local courier is very good, so fingers crossed it arrives for you today

simperingsychophantsbatman · 06/03/2024 15:23

It means they haven't lost it yet.
