What to do on Mother's Day with baby?

Partner is working but want to do something nice with 9mo baby on actual day. Family not nearby unfortunately but I'm seeing them in few weeks.

I don't normally get too fussed about these things but want to do something for first mothers day thats memorable.

Doesn't have to cost money or anything, maybe I'll just take her to park to try swings for first time.

Any other ideas?

Depending on age, how about painting something together that you could keep/frame? Handprint perhaps if younger?

Get yourself a nice breakfast. I myself love a good mcdonalds breakfast or toby carvery buffet breakfast 👌

I was going to suggest what @LateMumma said but yes any "first" thing is nice or just go to a nice garden centre cafe for brunch..we have a couple near us with playgrounds and a few animals and things.

My partner is also working all day - I have a 10 year old and a 14 month old. I think my eldest will be making me ‘breakfast’ 😬 then we’ll have a walk down to the park if the weathers nice. There is a cafe nearby so we might stop for a hot chocolate and a cake 😊

Take her to a nice cafe so you can have coffee, cake, breakfast whatever you like and baby can have a babycino and whatever else they like (this may not work with all babies)
