FACEBOOK...got back on on laptop but not mobile

It went down world wide today.

Managed to get back on via my laptop but not on my mobile.

When I click on it it shows my IG account and asks if I want to create a new account linked to my IG.

Ive pressed forgotten password, sends my a number to insert but then doesnt recognise or take it...

I had to restart my phone. Then it was just back to normal. Good thing as well, I can't remember my password.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and turning my phone off and on a couple of times. Still no joy.

Ive restarted phone still nothing. Will uninstall and reinstall app npw

Try clearing cache on the app then restart the phone

I've cleared cache and restarted no joy (Google phone)

Are you back in yet? I had to go onto my laptop and click a notification/authentication to say it was me trying to get back on my phone and it worked!
