Spa recommendations in Bristol

I have a friend going through a tough time at the moment and would like to buy her a voucher for a massage or similar for a nice spa near where she lives in Bristol.

I don't know the area and don't trust Google to give me honest reviews. Can anyone recommend somewhere please?

I would go for the Thermae Bath Spa. It's not far from Bristol & you can just go to the spa or they do packages as well. There is a lovely rooftop pool with views over the city.

I had a really lovely hot stone aromatherapy massage at The Harbour House hotel on Corn Street in the centre of the city. The actual spa isn’t very big though it does have a small pool but the massage was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

The Lido in Clifton is lovely - they do spa and dining packages, as well as treatments. Outdoor pool, so a bit bracing this time of year!
