I watched a clip earlier from his radio show where he'd given two listeners his tickets to the Brits, and had gone to babysit their daughter so they could go.

He's great at his job.

He clearly adores his wife (as he bloody well should!)

He comes across as a thoroughly lovely down to earth man.

And he's very tall and handsome 😍

He's very underrated I think. I liked him in that reality show, was it called Up and Down or something? A very handsome man and seems lovely with it.

And he does the Tailenders podcast. It's a cricket thing. Go well...

Absolutely! It's quite scary for BBC radio that they aren't finding more of his ilk. He's funny, intelligent, but it's the kind heart that does it. He's not a try hard. I love him. So many coming through with egos, and who can hardly speak properly. Have you seen his salary?? 😮

I love him! Best dj on the radio at the moment, endearingly entertaining and down to earth but absolutely bonkers too.
I heard him at the start of the week discussing his Brit ticket dilemma, how did it end up going to listeners/how were those listeners chosen? Think it was a lovely thing he did!

is iirc Charlie was playing 'What's my age again' ages ago but he messed it up by rounding up his age. And it got silly.

Met him a few years ago at Hay Festival whilst he was doing book signings. Genuinely lovely, funny and brilliant with the children.

im not a radio listening but might make an effort to tune in.

I'm sure it was £400k a year for the radio! I don't mind! I'm sure Matt Edmondson is worth about 50p, so it evens out.

I only know him from Tailenders but I love him on that. We went to one of the live shows, it was a fantastic night.

He's constantly on radio one, I think his dad must own it. He's like a smashie and nicie type DJ- belongs on local radio.
