I started this pill end of November and bled every till the start of February! I then stopped bleeding for two and a bit weeks and I’ve been bleeding everyday since!

does anyone else have this on this pill!! Does the bleeding stop? It’s driving me insane!

It took about 3-4 months for mine to settle, but now I have no bleeding. I might get light spotting a couple of times a year.

Are you bleeding heavy, or just a light, constant period?

I don't get any breakthrough bleeding on this (been on it nearly 3 years) but did on a different progesterone only pill before that, might be worth asking your GP to trial a different one? X

I've been on the estrogen patches since October and had a lot of bleeding. It was constant for about 3 months but now it's random. Following investigations it looks like I have fibroids that are causing my issues. Have you spoke to your gp?

I found Cezarette (a branded version of Desogestrel) much better. Please discuss with your GP if it's affecting your life as there's other brands of the same drug they can try that work differently for everyone.

It took me a good 4-5 months to settle down and I bled more or less constantly at first. Now I rarely ever get periods - last one was August I think. Also second a pp about getting Cerazette rather than the generic version.

I had constant bleeding on every form of progesterone only contraceptive. Tried desogestrel, cerelle, cerazette, the implant and the injection( at least 6 months on each) my body just couldn't adjust to them. It is worth persevering, because a lot of people do find their periods settle down after 6 months, but also maybe look into alternatives

I was put on desogestrel February 2024 I was bleeding everyday until end of June which I assume my body had adjusted to the pill, then all of a sudden started bleeding red and brown blood everyday since 8th January 2025 I don’t know why I have randomly started bleeding has anyone experienced this
