Mice in the loft

We have suddenly got mice in the loft. I don’t know what to do to get rid of them. I e bought traps and put electronic deterrents in the loft. I don’t want to poison them. Should I put the cat up there? I don’t know what to do.

How are they getting in? No point trapping some for more to appear.

if you’ve only heard them it’s probably rats.
block up all access holes is the best course of action

I can’t see where the access holes are. It’s a huge loft. There are mice droppings and chewed bin bags.

Traps, lots of traps.

Otherwise, give them names and have some pet mice.
