My sleep is all over the place.
Woke at 5 am yesterday, was in bed at 8pm, and now wide awake

Stressful time at work, and peri not aiding in being well rested.

Also had this weird cold virus for 2 weeks!

@sprigatito oh, so much going on. I'm sure it feels like you don't even know where to start with all that. I'm so sorry.

@HotChocWine I think I'm starting to join a lot of dots together with this peri business! Just woke dh who came down and made me tea. Randomly cried at him and now feeling a bit easier. He's looking at me like I've lost the plot though.

2 year old got in my bed at 12.15. I went to bed at 10 and been laying here feeling wide awake since he came in so that’s me up for the day 😩

gives me chance to get some of my uni course module done though 👍🏼

Was planning to go to bed early, but stayed up to sort out errands - holiday, planning the week

and now in bed actually dreading going to work tomorrow and realising I possibly want to move!

I googled too, didn't realise hedgehogs were so noisy! Let's hope it's just a little hedgehog.

Job interview tomorrow for a role that I really want that I'm stressed about. Plus going back to my current work after a week off and dreading it.

Where do you live, @Bitsiemcgee? We can play guess the animal. I’m betting on fox that’s just run a mile away from a bigger threat at top speed, and stopped to pant.

@Bitsiemcgee just had a cuppa whilst giggling hedgehogs. Then got too invested in a video of someone hand raising a baby hedgehog and kinda think i want one now!

I have the weird cold/virus/flu thing and currently coughing my guts up

I had a coffee after dinner to help me finish a work project, and now it's finished and I can't sleep!

I’m wide awake with pregnancy insomnia. Also googling about hedgehogs, we have 2 in our back garden. I didn’t realise they were so noisy either.

Picked my DS up from school at 12 (midnight) from a trip to France. Had been gagging for a drink all evening so stupidly opened a bottle of wine when we got back. Would be rude not to finish it, so ........
Thankfully the alarm is set for 10am as DS has got a late start.
My DM died a year ago today, hence the need for wine, not that I need much excuse these days. Post menopause and just done with everything and anything.

Had a Sunday sesh. Now I'm home I can't get to sleep. Had a good afternoon/evening though.

I don’t know why I’m awake. I shouldn’t be. Had a bath before bed, and sleepy tea. Was in bed by 10.

Worried about dd. She’s very anxious at the moment - think it’s unsettling me

It is so late, but I can't sleep because my mind is buzzing. I brewed some lavender tea.

I'm in hospital (had my appendix out) and my sleep patterns are all messed up. I dropped off around 10 p.m. and woke at 1 a.m. I'll probably nod off again just before the medical staff start their morning checks.

Sorry for those of you going through tough times.

Worrying about adult son and my quality of life because of this. It's one thing after another and I can't believe how little hope

I’ve heard of hedgehogs making huge noises- hope it’s just a hedgehog 🦔 .
For their size they are supposed to be very loud and scary sounding.

We get foxes here screaming and gekkering

Once they were making a huge noise outside- I had no idea then it was foxes - it sounded like ducks as they were splashing about in water and “ quacking” ( now I know it as gekkering)

Pain.

Got up and grabbed an orange juice to take two paracetamol with only to see next doors cat running out of the cat flap.

I don't begrudge it a place to sleep. Next door have three loud barky dogs.

Now back in bed with a hot water bottle. It'll take about 40 mins to get back to sleep.

Morning. I'm often awake at this time.

I seem to wake at this time every day since the menopause. I have to get up at 6 for work and I’ll be there until 6 tonight. I should have done some work this weekend but I didn’t and now I’m really anxious about it! Just worrying about everything…
